Chiropractic was first discovered in 1895 by Daniel David Palmer. In the century that followed, the science and art of chiropractic has grown into a licensed healthcare profession focused on restoring health and function through the body’s unique ability to heal itself. Biomechanical and structural alterations of the spine can affect the nervous system, creating significant impact to the body. Chiropractors are uniquely trained to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of these neuromuscular disorders which we call subluxations. Dr. Barnes-Jones’ practice utilizes a variety of adjustment techniques that are all non-invasive and delivered to a precise location on your spine. Chiropractic consists of three basic phases of care: relieving the pain you have come to the office with, correcting and restoring your muscles and other tissues to prevent further injury, and the final phase of wellness care for when your body has fully healed.
For many conditions, Chiropractic adjustments will help restore biomechanical integrity, alleviate pain, and reduce pressure on sensitive neurological tissues. These changes enhance your quality of life, allow you to optimize control of your health and achieve the ability to live at peak performance.
